Step 1: warm-up 1.Choose and talk. Handling textbook activity 1 can be divided into two steps: Students have a pair activity. Look at the pictures. Use the sentence patterns provided in the textbook to express their preferences for the food in the picture. Complementary sentence patterns: I love… /… is my favorite/ I hate… Teachers present questions:What food and drinks will you choose for your dinner? Students will reorganize the pictures in the form of group answers to form a menu with meat and vegetables and balanced nutrition. The reference sentence pattern is:I’ll choose… for my dinner.
